Overview

What is AI HomeDesign?

  • The all-in-one AI toolbox for real estate photo editing — it turns a single room photo into professional real estate visuals, built for agents, photographers, brokerages and homeowners.

From one photo you can furnish empty spaces, restyle interiors, change walls / floors / ceilings, remove clutter, enhance lighting, and convert daytime exteriors to twilight. Everything runs in the browser at app.aihomedesign.com — there is nothing to install.

Getting started

Create an account & sign in

You can browse the Studio as a guest, but you must be logged in to generate images, save files and use your credits.

Sign in. Open the account button (bottom-left), choose Login, then continue with Google, Apple, or email. New here? Use Create an Account.

Quick onboarding. On first use, a short “Which best describes you?” step tailors suggestions to your role. You can close it and start any time.

  1. Go to the app

    Open app.aihomedesign.com in any modern browser.

  2. Open the account button

    It sits at the bottom-left of the sidebar. Click Login in the menu that opens.

  3. Pick a sign-in method

    Continue with Google or Apple, or use Log in with Email. New users tap Create an Account.

  4. Choose your role

    Answer the one-step onboarding so the dashboard can tailor suggestions — then you’re in.

Orientation

The interface at a glance

The left sidebar is your main navigation. The account button at the bottom holds your plan, credits and settings.

  • Home — marketing / landing entry point with quick-start tool cards.

  • Studio — your workspace: all projects and files.

  • API — API keys & webhooks (for developers).

  • Pricing — plans and credits.

  • Help — support contact.

  • More — extra links and settings.

  • Account (bottom-left) — profile, plan, credits, Add Coins, Color Mode (light/dark), Brand Center, Logout.

Account menu. See your plan, remaining Photos (credits) and days until renewal, top up with Add Coins, flip Color Mode, or open Brand Center.

Workspace

The Studio

Open Studio from the sidebar. It’s organized into Projects and Single Files.

Studio. Projects group all photos & designs for one property; loose photos land in Single Files. Both are sortable, and storage is unlimited on paid plans.

Projects

A Project is a folder for one property (e.g. “2347 W Grand Ave, Chicago IL 60612”). Each card shows the name, last-modified date and file counts. Use Create Project to start one, and Sort by: Newest to organize.

Single Files

Photos you process without a project appear under Single Files, also sortable. Use Load More to page through large libraries.

Step 1 of every tool

Uploading photos

Every tool starts the same way — by adding one or more photos.

Three ways in: Browse from device, Use Existing Photos from your Studio, or Paste URL to import from a listing link.

  1. Browse from device

    Pick image files from your computer — drag & drop or add several at once.

  2. Use Existing Photos

    Reuse images already saved in your Studio.

  3. Paste URL

    Import a photo straight from a link (e.g. a Realtor / listing URL).

The core loop

How generation works

Every tool shares the same simple loop. Once your photo is in the editor, set the options on the right and hit Generate.

The editor. Your photo fills the canvas; the right panel holds the tool’s options. Required options must be set before Generate turns on.

Pick the room type. Open Space and choose the room — bedroom, living room, kitchen, outdoor and more.

Pick a style. The Style panel shows visual thumbnails — Prime (recommended), Modern, Farmhouse, Scandinavian, Hampton, Industrial and more.

  1. Open a tool

    From Studio → Start Your Project / All Tools, or the tool catalog.

  2. Upload your photo

    Browse, reuse or paste a URL (see above).

  3. Set the options

    Room type, style, material — whatever the tool needs in the right-hand panel.

  4. Generate

    The AI processes the photo. Each result spends 1 credit; regenerations are free on paid plans.

  5. Review & download

    Compare before/after, download watermark-free, regenerate, or send the photo to another tool via All Tools.

After you generate

Working with results

  • Before / After — results open with a comparison so you can verify the edit.

  • Download — save the result; on paid plans downloads are watermark-free.

  • Regenerate — don’t like a variation? Regenerate (free on paid plans) for a different result with the same settings.

  • Keep editing — use All Tools to send the same photo to another tool (stage a room, then enhance it, then change the floor).

  • Organize — results save into your Project or Single Files automatically, with unlimited storage and a multi-month backup.

Plans & credits

Each AI generation spends one credit (shown as “Photos” in the account menu). Plans bill monthly or yearly — yearly saves up to 51%.

API access

Open API in the sidebar to integrate AI HomeDesign into your own website or app. The same 11 tools are available via the API. API Access is included with the Enterprise plan.

API Access. Copy or Regenerate your private Token, register a Webhook endpoint for instant result notifications, and open the full docs.

  • Private API Key — your secret token. Copy it, and Regenerate to roll it if it leaks.

  • Webhook — register an endpoint to receive instant, automated result notifications instead of polling. Use Add endpoint and View webhook logs.

  • View docs — full reference at doc.aihomedesign.com (authentication, the project → order → process → result workflow, all tools, error codes, rate limits, Postman collection).

Tips & best practices

  • Photo quality matters most. Use sharp, well-lit, straight-on shots; avoid heavy fisheye distortion.

  • Match the room type to the photo for accurate, realistic furniture scale.

  • Use the right tool: empty room → Virtual Staging; furnished room to restyle → Interior Designer / Furniture Restyle; finishes only → Wall / Floor / Ceiling / Backsplash Change; clutter → Item Removal; dark/flat photo → Image Enhancement; daytime exterior → Day to Dusk.

  • Regenerations are free on paid plans — try a few styles before downloading.

  • Batch upload, then process photos one by one to move quickly through a listing.

  • Yearly billing saves up to 51% if you process photos regularly.
